Integrated Research Training Group of the SFB 815
The Integrated Research Training Group within the SFB 815 will provide a structured education of MD and PHD students in the field of redox regulation. Under the guiding theme “redox regulation†the curriculum aims to promote students by teaching the different aspects of redox regulation addressed by the clinical orientated Projects of the SFB, such as general signal transduction via oxygen, reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrate species (RNS), as well as physiological function and pathophysiological relevance of redox signaling.
The joint education of medical and science students will provide a close connection of basic science and clinical aspects, will lead the junior scientist to independent work and will promote their awareness for translational science.
