The role of ROS-generating systems and its signal transduction pathways for the physiological regulation of normal hematopoiesis is not well understood. By overexpressing or downmodulating the expression of essential components of the NOX-family of proteins we plan to define the function of NOX-proteins during normal hematopoietic cell proliferation and differentiation.
